Antique Queen Anne Serpentine fronted 1920’s Dressing Table set .

With original bevelled edged Sweet Heart Mirrors and Antique Italian Louis Mahogany Chair .

All pieces have been thoroughly stripped to bare wood for superb paint adhesion and removing over 100 years of wear and damage . All primed and stain blocked before being finely sanded back to a super smooth painting base .

Hand painted in 3 coats of Fusion Mineral paint ‘Champlain’ Which is a neutral Warm White .

All paintwork top coated in Satin Polyvine Decorators Varnish which is extremely hard wearing and water resistant.

I decided i wanted to keep the beautiful Walnut grain on the top but needed to lighten it so this has been finished with several different paint wash shades then Satin Varnished giving it a Bleached effect without using harsh chemicals.

Drawer fronts and top edges have been detailed in Liquid Gold edging .

Original Ornate pulls cleaned, primed, sprayed gold and reused . Drawer internals cleaned and nourished in Orange Oil .

The beautiful ornate Louis chair has been completely stripped and reupholstered in a fabulous Printed Italian Velvet and Gold Tassel trim to co- ordinate with the Gold detailing on the Dressing Table .

There are 3 very good sized drawers with the end drawers being particularly deep and full length.

Please bare in mind the glass is over 100years old so as with all Antique mirrors some of the silvering has worn leaving spotting here and there .

All in all this is a very Beautiful looking Set .
