Terms Of Business.

Furniture

We currently offer four options of business;

  • Commission pieces

  • Sourced pieces

  • In stock pieces

  • Finished pieces

Commission work (refurbishment or restoration of a piece you already own)

We require a 30% non refundable deposit to pay upon booking.

If you are dropping off your piece and collecting once it is completed, please make sure there is another person with you to carry to and from our work shop if you can not carry it yourself. We can not assist with moving items due to liability reasons.

If there are any extra repairs needed including any sign of wood worm, we need to be made aware at time of booking otherwise extra costs will be added to the payable balance.

If you have booked more than once piece in for refurbishment then change your mind, please be aware the deposit paid is non refundable for all pieces.

Sourced in pieces

We will ask you to explain in detail what you are looking for, how you want it finished etc. We can then provide you a quote to find that piece, pay for it, collect it and then refurbish it to your taste, with our professional standards.

There is a 50% non refundable deposit to pay upon booking.

In stock pieces

We always endeavour to have a good level of stock to meet the requirements of our customers. It will always be quality furniture, refurbished with the same level of care as any other piece we work on.

We require a 30% non refundable deposit upon booking to reserve a piece.

Finished pieces

Customers can either;

Pay a non refundable 25% deposit upon reserving, balance payable in cash upon collection within 7 days

Or, if requiring delivery;

Full, non refundable payment upon reservation.

Delivery

We offer delivery at the customers expense within a two hour distance from Tidworth. The delivery date will be agreed upon reservation/order. We will endeavour to deliver on agreed date and although we have never missed a delivery date yet, please be aware that delivery dates may need to be changed due to unforeseen circumstances.

The product will be delivered to your door, or the first room nearest your front door. Due to liability reasons we cannot carry furniture any further into your homes.

Delivery Charges

To ensure your purchase arrives exactly as intended, we personally offer delivery on all of our products. Current pricing is as follows;

For items needing 1 person delivery - 65p per mile

For items needing 2 person delivery - 65p per mile plus £10 per hour.

Couriers

We do not send items via courier as we cannot ensure your item will arrive as it left us. If our personal delivery method does not suit your needs, you may use your own courier if they are insured to carry refurbished furniture, please note they must also have sign over paperwork. Reborn Refurbishments does not take liability for loss, damage or theft of any items sent via 3rd party couriers.

Collection

Collection in person is very welcome, although please make sure you have adequate protection for the furniture inside your vehicle. Reborn Refurbishments does not take responsibility for any damage caused once the item has been collected.

We strongly recommend there is two of you if to assist with lifting or carrying - especially if your item is a larger size, as we cannot assist with the moving of items due to liability reasons.
