A Beautiful 1940’s French Cocktail Cabinet on Carved skirts & Queen Anne legs .

Once fully stripped to bare wood the internal shelves and cupboards were removed to make more usable space for your favourite bottles of Beverages and Glasses , a new drawer was made and fixed to the top left hand side to keep straws / favours / mixing spoons etc .

The entire piece was stain blocked & primed inside and out , the external paint work is in Fusion Mineral paints Chateau which is an 'Old Off White' the internal paint work is in Fusion Mineral paints Bedford which is a 'light Sage'.

The external sides , door fronts , internal drawer base and internal backing have been papered in a beautiful Leafy Floral paper with huges of neautrals , greens & oranges with liquid gold borders .

Gold leaf foil has been added externally to enhance the beautiful carved detailing and burnished .

Entire unit then sealed inside and out with 2 coats of Satin Polyvine decorators varnish which is an extremely hard wearing product offering superb longevity and durability of finishes.

Internally i have added a 3 rung Gold glass rack to the roof which will hold 9- 12 glasses leaving plenty of room on the base for extra glasses and plenty of Bottles .

Internally i have also added a new LED light which is held on via a magnetic plate to it is easily removed to recharge / rechargeable via a USB lead , the light has 3 functions ( On /Off / Motion censored.

The left hand side door bolts from the inside & has its original little cocktail pick racks on the inside of the door and the right hand side door has a roller ball catch to close & has its original gold serving tray hung on the inside .

The external handles are not original to this piece as these pieces never hand handles , i never throw original handles away so have lots and found these original Antique French ones i have had for several years in my stash … Perfect for this piece.. These have been sprayed in Liquid gold leaf and added to finish her off Beautifully .

A truly Beautiful piece , she also stands at the perfect height to use her top to make your favourite Cocktails on !
