A Beautiful Antique Oak Arts & Crafts chest of Drawers

As always this piece was fully stripped to bare wood for superb pint adhesion and longevity of finishes.

Once fully stripped the paint finished parts were stain blocked and primed then buffed back for a super smooth base before being hand painted in 3 coats of Fusion Mineral paint ‘Cathedral Taupe’

Wooden applique mouldings primed and painted in ‘Casement’ a soft white have been designed and added to create the separation of the Beautiful English Oak lower drawers and above painted top drawer .

The lower half of the second drawer and the bottom drawer has been stencilled in subtle French Scroll love letters in Antique Gold , which looks Stunning when the light catches , i have tried to show the effect in the above video .

All paintwork & natural Oak has been top coated in Satin Poly vine Varnish .

Drawer internals cleaned and oiled in Orange Oil.

Fabulous new Ornate Drop pulls in Antique Gold to finish .

Paint work top coated in Satin Poly Vine Decorators Varnish adding 20% sheen , durability & longevity.

The Varnish is also UV and Water resistant .

Drawer internals cleaned and nourished in Orange Oil .

I have added 4 Beautiful Antique pulls of which I kept from another piece many moons ago , these have been cleaned, primed & sprayed in a liquid gold .
