Circa 1930 - 40

Constructed from Mahogany and Flamed Mahogany Veneers She stands at 161cm Height x 95cm Width x 44cm Depth

The internal top compartment has 2 original toughened glass shelves which are in great condition other than a very small chip in the underside of the top shelf.

Underneath there are 2 good sized drawers which are in perfect condition & run as they should.

The unit has been completely stripped right back to bare wood inside & out.

Stain blocked to ensure no bleed through of Tannins.

Hand painted (brushed) in 3 coats of Fusion Mineral paint ‘ Sterling’ Drawer & Door fronts kept natural Flamed Mahogany.

Gold metal leaf applied to the top moulding and base.

Backing and drawer internals papered in a fabulous Tulip & Botanicle co-ordinating paper.

Entire unit then sealed in 2 coats of Satin polyvine varnish for a 20% sheen and added durability of finishes.
